How do I filter requests to view specific requests?

In this article, we will go through the steps on how an admin may view requests based on certain criteria

The Request module in Asanify contains the list of all the request types that are pending approval/ rejection on Asanify.

These include Attendance, Expense, Comp off, and Emp core update requests.

Here is a guide on how you may Filter Requests.

Step 1: Go to the Requests tab.

Step 2: Filter requests as per your criteria.

Step 1: Go to the Requests tab.

  • Go to the Requests dropdown in the left navigation bar.

  • Go to All Requests if you wish to view a summary of all the requests that are pending approval/rejection.

  • You will first be able to view All Approvals and after you scroll down to the bottom of the page you will be able to view your own Requests.

  • You may click on the More button to view additional details.

Step 2: Filter requests as per your criteria.

  • You may easily filter your requests by using the Status type dropdown and the Request Type dropdown. If you wish to use other filters as well, you may click on the View button below the All Filters option.

  • Let us first understand how the Status type dropdown and the Request Type dropdown work. Scroll down to see the more advanced filtering options.

  • Click on the Status dropdown. You will be able to filter the requests based on whether the Requests are in a Pending/ Approved/ Rejected state.

  • You may select multiple statuses to view at one time as well.

  • Click on the All option to view the Request Type dropdown.

  • You may select multiple Request Types to be filtered here as well.

  • After you have configured your filters as per your requirements, click on the View button below All Filters.

  • You will be able to view the filters you have input here.

  • If you wish to add additional filters you may click on the Add Condition button.

  • After you click on the Add condition button, you may select the criteria that you wish to use for filtering purposes.

  • You may filter based on Request Type, Status, Requested By and Requested On.

  • You may select the Requested On option if you wish to filter requests based on the date on which the request was made.

  • You may select the operator from the dropdown and select the date for which you wish to filter the requests.

  • After you have added your filter criteria click on Apply Filters.

  • Your requests will be filtered as per your requirements.
