Step 1 - Navigate to Holidays
Login to Asanify as an Admin. Click on Holidays under Leave tab in the left navigation pane.
Step 2 - Add Holiday
Click on +Holiday. Enter Name, Date and select Optional. Click on Create.
Step 3 - View
The created holiday will now be added to the list of optional holidays.
Optional Holiday / Restricted Holiday
An Optional (or Restricted) Holiday is a flexible day off that employees may choose to take at their discretion. Unlike a public holiday, the office remains open, and business operations continue as usual. This policy gives employees the freedom to take time off for occasions that matter personally to them, without mandating a company-wide closure.
Example Use Case:
For instance, if an employee wishes to observe a regional festival like Pongal or Eid, they can opt for a Restricted Holiday, while colleagues who do not celebrate it can continue working as usual.
