In this article, we will go through the steps on how an admin may update a work location on Asanify. Please refer to this article if you wish to accurately update the GPS of a work location when you use it for a geofencing policy.
Instructions to edit a work location
Here is a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Go to the work locations tab.
Step 2: Edit the work location.
Step 1: Go to the work locations tab.
Go to the Company tab from the left navigation bar -> Click on the Work Locations tab -> In the list of work locations, you may search for the work location you wish to edit.
Step 2: Edit the work location.
Click on the Edit option present next to the name of the work location which you wish to edit.
If you wish to update the work address, you may start typing in Line 1 to get the address automatically and click on the correct address suggestion to select the address.
If your address does not display automatically, you may click on the Fill address manually option.
After you click on the Fill address manually option, all the fields will get cleared and you may enter your work location details manually.
If you wish to use google maps to search for your address you may click on the Search for address from google maps option.
You may also drag the Red location pin which is present on the map to adjust your address to the correct location GPS.
After you have made your changes, you may click on the Update Address option at the bottom of the screen to save your changes.
