Here is a step-by-step guide
Step 1: Go to the Department tab
Step 2: Search for the designation

From the Dashboard. Use the Company dropdown
From the company dropdown, go to the Department tab
Step 2: Search for the department
In the list of departments, you can search for the department
The description of the department will be attached( if provided while creating).
