You may quickly generate an EPF ECR file on Asanify.
Here is a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Go to the Payruns tab.
Step 2: Generate the ECR file.
Step 1: Go to the Payruns tab.
Go to the Payroll tab in the left navigation bar -> Click on Payruns.
You may generate an ECR file for Processed payruns. You will not be able to generate ECR files for In Process payruns.
Step 2: Generate the ECR file.
Click on the More button for the Payrun for which you wish to generate ECR.
Click on Generate ECR file.
If the UAN numbers of your employees aren't on Asanify you will receive an error message. You will be able to see the employee ID's of those employees whose UAN numbers are missing.
You may go to your employees' profiles -> Compliance tab and update that information prior to proceeding with the ECR generation.
If your employees' UAN details are all updated on Asanify, you may click on More -> Generate ECR file.
The ECR file will get downloaded on your device.
Open the file to view it.
Please note that if you have turned off the PF applicability of any employee then you will not be able to see that employee's information in the ECR file.
