You may choose to cancel or revoke the offboarding of any employee by following the steps given below.

Step 1: Go to the employee's profile page.

Step 2: Cancel the offboarding of the employee.

Step 1: Go to the employee's profile page.

  • Click on the People dropdown in the left navigation bar -> Click on Employees.

  • If you wish to filter to see your offboarded employees you may use the Filter by employee status option and select Offboarded to see the offboarded employees.

  • Click on the name of the employee whose offboarding you wish to cancel.

Step 2: Cancel the offboarding of the employee.

  • Click on the Cancel Offboarding button.

  • A pop-up will appear. Please note that the offboarding process for the selected employee will be canceled and their employment status will be updated to ACTIVE. The termination payroll and payslip associated with this employee's offboarding will also be deleted.

  • Click on the Yes, Cancel button.

  • The employee's employment status will change from offboarded to active.

IMP: Please note that since active employees need a license, we check if you would have enough licenses after canceling the offboarding for the offboarded employees. For e.g., If your company has 10 licenses, 10 active employees, and 1 offboarded employee and you choose to cancel the offboarding of the offboarded employee, then you would have to first add a license to do that.

If your card is on file then licenses will be added automatically without any hassles - you can refer to our article on how you may update your payment method here.

If your card is not on file or auto-charge fails for some reason, then you will get a pop-up informing you to add licenses.
