As an Admin, how do I create and launch a survey in Asanify?

Use Asanify Pulse to ask your organisation a question and choose exactly who receives it before you send it.

Written by Vaibhav Kashyap

Step 1 - Open Pulse

Go to Apps and select Asanify Pulse. This opens the list of your company's surveys.

If your company is on the free plan, Pulse shows how many surveys and AI insights you have left this month, with a warning once you're close to the limit.

Step 2 - Start a new survey

Click New survey. Start from a template — eNPS, Onboarding check-in, Manager pulse, or One-question poll — or start blank and write your own questions. Choosing a template fills in a suggested survey name and a set of ready-made questions you can still edit.

Step 3 - Write your questions

Give the survey a Name and, if you like, a Description. Then add or edit your questions using the question builder. Each question has a response type, such as a rating scale, a yes/no choice, single or multiple choice, or a short or long text answer.

Some question types let you set an optional target answer, shown as a plain expected value rather than a scoring rule — for example, a target score on an eNPS question. If you start typing a target, finish it or clear it before saving: an unfinished target blocks the whole survey from being saved.

You can't change the questions once the survey exists, so review them before you save. If you need different questions later, create a new survey instead.

Step 4 - Choose who receives it

Under Who receives it, leave the filter empty to send the survey to every employee, or add conditions by Department, Designation, Work location, or Joining date to target a smaller group. The count below the filter updates to show how many employees currently match.

Step 5 - Choose anonymous or identified responses

Under Anonymity, choose Show who answered or Keep answers anonymous. Anonymous responses carry no name, so you'll see totals only and never who said what.

This choice cannot be changed once you launch the survey, so decide before you launch. The launch confirmation restates it, so you have one more chance to check it before responses start coming in.

Step 6 - Save or launch

Click Save draft to keep your work without sending it. A draft survey's name, description, audience, and anonymity setting can all still be changed. Click Launch when you're ready to send it.

Step 7 - Confirm and launch

The launch confirmation shows how many employees will receive the survey and restates whether responses will be anonymous or identified.

If the audience matches nobody, or your company has reached a plan limit, Launch stays disabled and the dialog explains why, with a link to upgrade if a plan limit is the cause.

Click Launch to send the survey to your audience immediately. Employees who match your audience will see it in their Moments feed.

Step 8 - After you launch

A launched survey's name, questions, audience, and anonymity setting can no longer be edited. You can still close it early from Close survey on the survey's page.

Once a survey is closed and at least one employee has answered it, you can open the survey to view its results. Results stay hidden while a survey is still open, so an individual response can't be tied to the moment someone submits it.
