Prerequisites

Step 1 - Navigate to the Analytics Module

  • Log in to Asanify as an Admin.

  • Click on Analytics in the left navigation bar.

  • Click on the Performance tab at the top of the Analytics page.

Step 2 - Open the Review Cycle Summary Report

  • On the Performance Analytics page, locate the Review Cycle Summary card.

    • The card description reads: "Detailed review cycle information on the basis of questions".

  • Click on the Review Cycle Summary card to open the report generation page.

Step 3 - Select a Review Cycle

  • On the report page, you will see a Review Cycle filter dropdown at the top.

Note: You will see a blue information alert: "Please select a review cycle" until a review cycle is selected.

  • Click on the Review Cycle dropdown and select the review cycle you wish to analyse.

    • Each review cycle is listed with its name and period (e.g., Annual Review 2024 (Jan 2024 – Dec 2024)).

  • Once you select a review cycle, the page will load the questions associated with that cycle.

Step 4 - Select Questions

  • After selecting a review cycle, the Select Questions panel will appear below the filter.

  • Click on the + New Question button to open a dropdown list of all available questions from the selected review cycle.

  • Click on a question to add it to your report.

  • Repeat this step to add more questions as needed.

Tip: Select exactly 2 questions to unlock the 9-Box Charts, which plot reviewee performance across two dimensions — grouped by Individual, Department, and Manager.

  • To remove a question, click the delete (×) icon next to its name in the selected questions panel.

Step 5 - Load the Report and Charts

  • Once you have selected at least one question, a Load Report / Charts button will appear.

  • Click the Load Report / Charts button to generate the report.

  • A loading overlay will appear while the report data is being fetched. This may take a few moments.

Step 6 - View the Report Data and Charts

Once the report loads, you will see two sections:

Charts

The following charts are generated based on your selected questions:

  • Individual Reviewee Details — Bar chart showing ratings by question for each reviewee.

  • Reviewee Details by Department — Bar chart grouping review ratings by department.

  • Reviewee Details by Manager — Bar chart showing ratings grouped by the reviewer's manager.

  • Number of Responses by Question — Histogram showing response counts per question.

  • Number of Responses by Department — Histogram showing response counts per department.

  • (Only when exactly 2 questions are selected) 9-Box Charts — Three 9-box grid views grouped by Individual, Department, and Manager.

Data Table

Below the charts, a detailed data table is displayed with the following columns:

  • Review Filled Date — Date the review was submitted.

  • Reviewee Name, Employee ID, Department, Designation.

  • Reviewer Name, Employee ID, Department, Designation, Role (e.g., Manager, Peer).

  • Per-question columns — For each selected question: Rating, Comment (if applicable), and Weight.

You may use the Search by Employee Name field in the table toolbar to filter the results.

Step 7 - Export the Report to Excel (Optional)

  • To download the full report for offline use, click the Export Excel button (with a download icon) in the data table toolbar.

  • The file will be downloaded as Performance_Review_Report_Asanify.xlsx.

Note: The CSV export option is not available for this report. Only Excel (.xlsx) export is supported.

Additional Information

What data is included in the report?

The report covers all completed review submissions for the selected review cycle and chosen questions. Each row in the table represents one completed review instance. If a question is linked to a goal, the column header will display the question name alongside the goal objective.

Ensure reviews have been submitted before running the report

The report only includes reviews with a Completed status. If reviewers have not yet submitted their forms, refer to the article on how to fill and submit a review and ensure all review cycle stages have been set to In Progress before reviewers can submit.
