As an admin, how do I set up an interview with a candidate?

In this article, we will go through the steps to schedule an interview with a candidate.

If you wish to set up an interview with a candidate, you may do so by using the Schedule an interview option in Asanify. You must first Add a candidate in Asanify before you can set up an interview with the candidate.

Here is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Go to the candidate's profile.

Step 2: Fill in the details for the interview and schedule it.

Step 1: Go to the candidate's profile.

  • Click on the Hiring tab in the left navigation bar -> Click on the Candidates option.

  • You may search for the candidate by typing his/her name in the search box -> Click on the candidate's name to open up his/her profile.

  • Click on the Schedule An Interview button on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Fill in the details for the interview and schedule it.

  • After you click on the Schedule an Interview button, the screen which is shown below will appear.

  • Fill in the title of the interview by typing what you wish your interview title to be.

  • Choose the organizer by clicking on the dropdown and then clicking on the person who will be the organizer.

  • Choose the interviewers by clicking on the dropdown and then selecting the people who would be the interviewers.

  • Select the date of the interview by clicking on it.

  • Select the interview start time and click on the Submit button in the pop-up to confirm it.

  • Select the interview end time and click on the Submit button in the pop-up to confirm it.

  • You may choose the interview method from the options provided.

  • You may type in the interview location. After you receive the interview invitation via email, you may add the event to your calendar, and google maps will attempt to find the location based on the data you entered in the interview location option.

  • You may leave the interview location option blank/fill company address if you choose Video Conferencing or Telephonic as the interview method.

  • You may add a note (optional). This note would be visible only to the interviewer(s) and NOT to the interviewee.

  • Click on the Schedule Interview button.

  • After you schedule the interview you will receive an email with the interview details and you may add it to your calendar by clicking the Add to calendar option.

  • If you wish to view the interview information you may Go to the Hiring tab -> Go to the candidate's profile -> Interview tab -> You may view the interview details here.
