Step 1 - Navigate to Attendance Analytics
Log in to Asanify as an Admin.
From the left navigation pane, click on Analytics.
Under Analytics, click on the Attendance tab.
This will open the Attendance Analytics section where all available attendance reports are listed.
Step 2 - Select the Daily Clocks and Hours Report
From the list of available attendance reports, click on the Daily Clocks & Hours card.
Note: The card description reads "Attendance clock data for a period".
This will open the report generation page.
Step 3 - Apply Filters
Before loading the report, configure the filters to narrow down the data you want to see.
Attendance Date (Required): Select the start date and end date for the report period. By default, this is set from the first day of the current month to today's date.
Person Status (Optional): Filter by employee status — choose from Active, Resigned, Onboarding, or Offboarded. You may select multiple statuses.
Employment Type (Optional): Filter by Employee, Contractor, or both.
Tip: You can also use the advanced filter operands to filter by specific employees, designations, or departments.
Step 4 - Load the Report
Once your filters are set, click the Load Report/Charts button.
The system will generate the report and display it in a table with the following columns:
Column | Description |
Employee ID | Unique identifier for the employee |
Full Name | Employee's full name |
Department | Employee's department |
Designation | Employee's designation |
Work Date | The date for which clock data is recorded |
First Clock In | The time of the employee's first clock-in for the day |
Last Clock Out | The time of the employee's last clock-out for the day |
First Clock In Source | The method used to clock in (e.g., Mobile, Web) |
Last Clock Out Source | The method used to clock out (e.g., Mobile, Web) |
Hours Worked | Total hours worked for that day |
Status | Attendance status (e.g., Present, Absent, Half Day) |
Shift | The shift assigned to the employee for that day |
Note: You can also view individual employee details such as Department and Designation by clicking the info icon next to the employee's name.
Step 5 - Explore Charts (Optional)
After loading the report, you can also explore visual charts for deeper insights. The following charts are available:
Hours Worked Distribution by Shift – A box plot comparing hours worked across different shifts.
Hours Worked by Date by Person – A line chart showing each employee's hours worked over the selected date range.
Hours Worked Trend by Person – A heatmap showing daily hours worked per employee.
Hours Worked Trend by Department – A heatmap showing daily hours worked per department.
Hours Worked Trend by Designation – A heatmap showing daily hours worked per designation.
Step 6 - Export the Report
You can download the report data for offline use or further analysis.
Click Export CSV to download the report as a
.csvfile.Click Export Excel to download the report as a
.xlsxfile.
The exported file will be named in the format: Attendance Daily Clocks and Hours [start date] - [end date].
Tip: Admins can also schedule and share this report directly from the report page using the Report Share Actions feature.
Additional Information
Prerequisites
You must be logged in as an Admin to access all employee data in this report.
Attendance data must be recorded for the selected date range in order for the report to populate.
Related Reports
For a broader overview of all available Attendance Analytics reports, including Daily Attendance Status, Today's Status, Attendance Summary, Daily Location, and Regularization Requests, refer to the Attendance Analytics overview.
If you prefer to view the attendance details of a specific individual employee, you can do so from the Attendance > Clock tab.
To download a summary report of your employees' overall attendance information instead, use the Attendance Summary report.
