Step 1 - Navigate to People Analytics

  • Log in to Asanify as an Admin.

  • From the left navigation pane, click on Analytics.

  • Under Analytics, click on People.

Note: This section is accessible to Admin users only. If you do not see the Analytics option, please check with your Asanify account administrator to confirm your access level.

Step 2 - Select the Employee Master Report

  • On the People Analytics page, you will see three report options:

    • Employee Master – Comprehensive employee core information (excluding salary details).

    • People Salary Master – Detailed salary and compensation information.

    • Demographics – Department-wise distribution of employees.

  • Click on Employee Master.

Step 3 - Load the Report

  • Click the Load Report/Charts button to fetch the employee data.

  • The report will load and display a table with detailed employee information, including:

    • Employee ID and Full Name

    • Department and Designation

    • Employment Type (Employee or Contractor)

    • Status (Active, Onboarding, Resigned, Offboarded)

    • Date of Joining and Date of Exit

    • Gender, Date of Birth, Age, and Tenure

    • Work Email, Personal Email, Mobile Number, and Emergency Contact

    • Work Address and Personal Address

    • Bank Details (transfer method, account details)

    • Manager Name

    • Compliance fields (country-specific, e.g., PAN, PF, ESI details)

    • Custom fields (if configured for your organisation)

Note: The default view shows Active and Resigned employees of both Employee and Contractor employment types.

Step 4 - Apply Filters (Optional)

Use the filter options to narrow down the data displayed:

  • Employee Status – Filter by Onboarding, Active, Resigned, or Offboarded.

  • Employment Type – Filter by Employee or Contractor.

  • Department – Filter by a specific department.

  • Designation – Filter by a specific designation.

  • Employee – Search and select specific employees.

Click Load Report/Charts again after updating filters to refresh the report with your selected criteria.

Step 5 - Search Within the Report

  • Use the Search bar at the top of the table to search by Employee ID, Name, Department, or Designation.

  • This is a live search that filters the currently loaded data instantly.

Step 6 - Configure Columns (Optional)

You can customise which columns appear in the report:

  • Click on the Column Configurations option (located in the toolbar above the table).

  • Select or deselect the columns you want to display.

  • Click Update columns to apply your selection.

This is useful when you want to focus on specific data fields or remove columns that are not relevant to your current task.

Step 7 - Export the Report as CSV

  • Once the report is loaded with the data you need, click the Export CSV button.

  • The file will be downloaded to your computer as Employee_master.csv.

  • This file can be opened in Excel or any spreadsheet application for further analysis or record-keeping.

Step 8 - View Charts (Optional)

  • After loading the report, scroll down or click on the Charts section to view visual analytics, including:

    • Headcount by department, designation, and work location

    • Employees joined by month

    • Gender breakdown

    • Tenure distribution

Additional Information

Prerequisites

  • You must have Admin access to view the Employee Master Report.

  • Employees must have been added to Asanify before their data appears in this report.

What data is NOT included?

The Employee Master Report shows core employee information only. Salary and compensation details are not included — for that, refer to the People Salary Master report available in the same People Analytics section.

Compliance and Custom Fields

If your organisation has set up country-specific compliance fields (e.g., PAN, PF number, Aadhaar) or custom employee fields, these will also appear as additional columns in the report, provided they have been configured in your Asanify settings.
