As an Admin, how do I manage tickets in the HR Help workspace?

The HR Help workspace lists every ticket your employees raise to your HR team, so you can read, reply to and move them along. This article walks through opening the workspace, filtering the list, replying to a ticket, and changing its status.

Step 1 - Open the workspace

Go to Apps, click HR Help, then click Ticket workspace. The header shows "Every ticket raised to your HR team" as an admin, or "Tickets assigned to you" if you are viewing as an agent without admin access.

Step 2 - Switch between Table View and Inbox View

Use the toggle in the top right to switch between Table View, a sortable list with one row per ticket, and Inbox View, which shows the ticket list on the left and the selected ticket's conversation on the right. Asanify remembers your choice for the next time you open the workspace.

Step 3 - Search and filter the ticket list

Use Search Tickets to find a ticket by its ID, subject or the employee who raised it. Narrow the list with the Status and Category dropdowns, or click All Filters for Assigned to, Priority, Tags, Sort by and an Unassigned only switch. Click Reset to clear every filter at once.

Step 4 - Read a ticket's conversation

In Table View, click View Details on a row, or in Inbox View, click a ticket in the list to open its conversation. Each message shows who sent it and when; Asanify also adds a message to the same conversation whenever something changes, for example when the ticket is assigned or its status changes.

Step 5 - Reply to a ticket

Type your reply and click Send reply. Click Attach files to add supporting documents to your reply. If you are replying as an agent or admin, turn on Internal note first to leave a note only agents and admins can see, then click Add note instead. You can reply on a ticket that is Open, In Progress or Resolved; a Closed ticket shows a message that you must reopen it first.

Step 6 - Move a ticket through its status

Use the status buttons in the conversation header, or the matching icons on a table row, to move a ticket along: Start Progress, Mark as Resolved, Close, and Back to Open to send an in-progress ticket back to open. Only the moves that are valid for the ticket's current status appear.

A Resolved or Closed ticket gets a Reopen control instead. Clicking it opens a dialog asking for a reason before you can confirm; type it and click Reopen to send the ticket back to Open.

Step 7 - Open the full ticket details

Click View Details from the conversation header or a table row to open the details drawer. It shows the ticket's Subject, Category, Priority and Tags, who it is assigned to, and its full history. Which of these you can change depends on your role; add an Internal Note here as well as from the reply box.

Step 8 - Raise your own ticket from the workspace

Click Raise Ticket in the top right of the workspace to open the same request form your employees use, so you can log a request for yourself without leaving the workspace.
