Step 1 - Navigate to Workflow Analytics

Login to Asanify as an Admin. On the left navigation pane, click on Analytics. Under Analytics, click on Workflow.

You will land on the Workflow Analytics page, which lists the available reports.

Step 2 - Open the Requests Summary Report

Click on the Requests Summary card on the Workflow Analytics page.

This will open the report page where you can apply filters and load your data.

Step 3 - Apply Filters and Load the Report

The report supports the following filters to help you narrow down results:

  • Requested On (Date Range): Select the start and end date for the period you want to view. This filter is compulsory — the report will not load without a date range selected. By default, the previous calendar month is pre-filled.

  • Request Status: Filter by the status of the request. You can select one or more of the following:

    • Pending

    • Approved

    • Rejected

    • Cancelled

  • Request Type: Filter by the type of request. You can select one or more of the following:

    • Attendance

    • Leave

    • Work From Home

    • Comp Off

    • Emp Core Update

    • Expense

    • Claim (Reimbursement)

    • Timesheet

    • Resignation

    • Fund

    • Loan

    • Job Requisition

Once you have set your filters, click Load to generate the report.

Step 4 - View the Report Data

After loading, the report displays a table with the following columns:

  • Request By – The name of the employee who raised the request

  • Employee ID – The employee's unique identifier

  • Request Type – The category of the request (e.g., Leave, Attendance)

  • Requested On – The date on which the request was submitted

  • Request Status – The current status (Pending, Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled)

  • Details – Click the View (eye icon) button to see the full details of the individual request

  • Workflow Journey – Click the View (path icon) button to open the complete workflow journey for that request, showing each approval stage and who actioned it

Note: The Workflow Journey button is only available for requests that are part of a configured workflow.

Step 5 - Export the Report (Optional)

Once the report has loaded, you can download the data as a CSV file for offline use. Click the Export CSV button to download the report.

The exported file includes all columns visible in the table, plus additional columns: Actioned By, Actioned On, and Action Note, providing a complete audit trail of each request.

The CSV file will be named in the format: Individual Requests {Start Date} - {End Date}.
