After you have created a goal and added key results, you may update the status of a key result at any time by following the steps provided below.
Here is a step-by-step guide.
Step 1: Select the goal for which you wish to update the key result.
Step 2: Choose how you wish to modify the key result.

Click on the View/Edit button for the goal for which you wish to update the key result.
Click on the Update Status button for the Key Result that you wish to update.
The horizontal bar at the top will display the current progress of your key result. It displays the Start value on the left and the Target value on the right. These are the values that you entered when you added a key result to your goal.
The middle value displays the current key result value.
Step 2: Choose how you wish to modify the key result.
If you choose the Increase button -> You may type in the extent to which you wish to increase your current value in the box below. E.g., In the image below, if I increase the NPS value by 10, then the NPS will display as 40. Calculation -> 30 (current NPS value) + 10 (the amount you wish to increase) = 40.
If you choose the Decrease button -> You may type in the extent to which you wish to decrease your current value in the box below. E.g., In the image below, if I decrease the NPS value by 10, then the NPS will display as 20. Calculation -> 30 (current NPS value) - 10 (the amount you wish to decrease) = 20.
If you choose the Absolute button -> You may enter the Absolute value. E.g., If you type 40 then the current value will be 40.
You may choose the Off Track button if your key result is not proceeding as you intended it to. You may choose the On Track button if your key result is proceeding as you intended it to.
You may add a Comment as well.
Click on the Update button.
After you Update a key result, your updates will be visible in the timeline.
